This year, like many before, I spent the night before Independence Day at Civic Center Park in downtown Denver. The Colorado Symphony performed and blew me away! I looked around around and saw community in action shining beautifully under the summer sky.
I had a ton of fun just relaxing and listening to some awesome musical talent.
Fireworks are always fun to watch and even though the display was kind of short this year I still enjoyed every minute of it. My roommate Taylor especially loves fireworks. She and I went to the celebration, just the two of us, for girls night out. We had a blast people watching as it’s one of our favorite things to do together. We also met some very sweet people who let us pet their dogs which was my favorite part of the evening. At the end of the night we filed out of the park with the other billion (or so it seemed) people and headed home. It was a fun night to be living in Denver!
